Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, welcomed the newly appointed Director of the Kuwaiti newspaper “Al-Anbaa” bureau in Beirut, colleague Naji Charbel.
For his part, Makary praised Kuwait for its supportive stances towards Lebanon across various fields, especially in the realm of media. He extended greetings to Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Culture, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, commending him on retaining his position across successive governments.
Makary also hailed the management of “Al-Anbaa” newspaper in Kuwait, particularly its Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Youssef Khaled Al-Marzouq, for their trust in the Lebanese media, professional handling of Lebanese news, and their appreciation for the Lebanese community in Kuwait by providing daily news updates from Lebanon, thus becoming a reliable source in the local media landscape.
In turn, Charbel expressed gratitude to Minister Makary for his attention to representatives of Arab and foreign media outlets and his efforts in support of Lebanese media institutions, both private and official sectors.
Charbel also visited National News Agency Director, Ziad Harfouche, acknowledging his efforts in the pivotal media institution, which offers a vivid portrayal of Lebanese governmental departments amidst challenging circumstances faced by colleagues working diligently.
