Events Of ‘Beirut, Capital Of Arab Media’ Postponed Until A Later Date

The press office of Caretaker Minister of Information Ziad Makari issued the following statement on Sunday:

“In view of the unusual circumstances that the region is going through following the devastating earthquake that struck Syria and Turkey, and given the lack of stability in the daily-living conditions in Lebanon, the Lebanese Ministry of Information, in consultation with the League of Arab States, decided to postpone the launching events of Beirut, the Capital of Arab Media, which were scheduled to take place between February 22 & 25, until another date to be announced later on.”
