Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Al-Makari welcomed a delegation from the Syrian Social Nationalist Party.
The meeting took stock of the country’s general conditions and media affairs.
Conferees stressed that the current stage required more efforts to reach an agreement on the election of a new President of the Republic, and the launch of institutional work in a manner that secures stability, consolidates national unity, and fortifies the country in the face of all the looming challenges.
The meeting also affirmed that “one of the most important factors is respect for the constitution and the implementation of the law, especially in terms of safeguarding freedom of expression and media institutions.”
