Makary Discusses Preparations Underway For New “National Strategy For Women” With Claudine Aoun

Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, on Thursday welcomed President of the “National Commission for Women’s Affairs”, Claudine Aoun.

“Today’s meeting with the Minister of Information focused on preparations underway for the new national strategy for women in Lebanon under the supervision of the Ministry, where meetings will be held with the National Commission of Women’s Affairs,” Aoun said on emerging.

“We’ve also discussed the concept of social inclusion in the new media law that the ministry is preparing, in addition to the latest study prepared by the commission on the issue of nationality, especially the Lebanese woman’s right to transfer her Lebanese nationality to her children,” Aoun added.
