Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, visited the Zgharta Media Network offices, where he was received by Msgr Estfan Frangieh.
Speaking to the Network’s radio director Robert Frangieh, Makary stressed that he does not seek to establish personal relations in the Ministry, but rather to work for the sake of the ministry and its employees. According to him, the Information Ministry “is neglected for many reasons.” “Its offices are still battered by the August 4 port explosion and the conditions are really poor,” he explained, hailing the employees who are still sacrificing despite the critical economic and technical situation.
Moreover, he revealed that he will visit the Télé Liban Beirut-based offices on April 6.
On a different note, Makary highlighted his commitment to the government’s ministerial statement, stressing that necessity of good relations with the Gulf states and the Arab brothers.
