Minister of Information, Dr. Manal Abdel Samad Najd, on Tuesday denied in an interview with the the National News Agency (NNA) the rumors that were being circulated via social media sites about a small meeting that was held yesterday to discuss her resignation from the current Lebanese cabinet.
“This piece of news is far from the truth and falls within the frame of fake and misleading news,” Abdel Samad said.
It is to note that several Lebanese media outlets had reported the minister’s resignation all day yesterday.
