Lebanese Ministry of Information
Minister of Information, Dr. Manal Abdel Samad Najd, on Wednesday regretted via twitter that some of the Lebanese citizens have lost trust in the current government due to the malpractices of governments in previous tenures.
“Within the past few months, my late work hours have prevented me from going to the market. Yesterday evening, I got the chance to go to the street and talk with some people. I got upset because it breaks my heart to witness my dear fellow citizens’ sufferings. The prices keep surging and people are hungry. Some people have lost confidence in us because of the malpractices of previous tenures. I apologize to the people. I’m trying all my best within my capacity as Minister of Information, and I promise to be the people’s voice at the House of Parliament,” Abdel Samad tweeted.
