Minister of Information, Dr. Manal Abdel Samad Najd, congratulated, via her Twitter account, all Lebanese workers on Labor Day, which is celebrated on the first of May of each year.
“I salute all laborers on this Day, especially under these difficult circumstances. It is true that thousands of workers have lost their jobs, but it is a crisis and it will pass,” the Minister said.
Abdel Samad added: “With the reform and anti-corruption plan, we will definitely witness a better period.”
She also indicated that there are no magic solutions that change things within a month or two; however, sustainable solutions will definitely allow the state to rise again.
“Keep an eye on Lebanon,” Abdel Samad concluded.
