Aoun at the Arab Development Summit conclusion: Lebanon will follow up on the Summit decisions, ensure their implementation

In his delivered speech at the closing of the Arab Development Summit in Beirut, President of the Republic Michel Aoun affirmed that Lebanon will follow up on its adopted decisions and ensure their proper implementation, in cooperation with the Arab League General Secretariat, in order to secure better social and economic conditions for Arab peoples and to promote the process of advancement and prosperity.

“With the end of the fourth session of the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit, I thank you all for the efforts exerted to ensure its success. I thank the participating delegations for their views and contributions,” said Aoun, adding, “I thank the Secretary-General of the Arab League and all the staff of the Secretariat, and I also thank the Supreme Organizing Committee, the security forces and the media.”

“There is no doubt that the issued decisions will contribute to enhancing Arab joint action. It is an advanced step towards securing an integrated Arab economy, which we all seek because of its proven benefit to our countries and peoples,” Aoun asserted.
