Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Nuhad al-Mashnouk, reiterated in the northern capital, tripoli, that the Lebanese are the ones electing their new parliament. Minister Mashnouk’s words followed his meeting with Northern Governor, Ramzi Nohra, in presence of security officers in Tripoli’s Serail.
the minister also confirmed the good securuty and administrative situation of the current elections noting that the expatriates’ votes will be counted today at 5. pm on local time.
