The President of the Central Inspection, Judge Georges Auguste Attia, issued the following circular: “In order to ensure the proper functioning of all departments, public institutions, municipalities and their federations, we call upon the officials and heads of all units to comply with the official working hours specified in Article Twenty- 8/2017, and strict control of the time of employees, contractors and procedures and all employees in these units and restrict them by its provisions, and not to be absent from work except with legitimate excuse, and the adoption of the assets to be used in the use of exit cards from the duty station before the end of work, Appropriate disciplinary measures against violators, in accordance with the provisions of articles 54 and 55 of Legislative Decree No. 112.59 and its amendments (Staff Regulations).
It also requests all departments, public institutions, municipalities and their federations to note the necessary funds for the maintenance of the periodic maintenance and development of these hours, and from those whose units have not been provided, to date, with hours to set the time, immediately start the procedures to install these hours in their centers And its employees.
The heads of the units in the said administrations are required to submit to the unit inspectors weekly reports on its implementation, in addition to the implementation of the additional weekly hours, in order to facilitate their work and enable them to carry out their tasks.
